As a change from last year, in 2023, any company that enters the competition will automatically go forward as a finalist to the 21 September event.
Our expert panel of judges will be faced with the challenge of choosing the best of the best in Europe, for a second successive year.

Jan is the managing director of the Deutscher Franchiseverband, the national association for franchising in Germany. He assumed his role in 2022, is a proud leader of the industry in his country. Jan is passionate about respect, fairness and trust, which he sees as the basis for a successful franchise system.

Johan is a leading player in the Scandinavian franchise scene and as a Board member of a number of businesses, including in recruitment, translation, company mentoring and previously in retail, consulting and banking, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the panel.

Cavavin is a leading wine merchant in France, created back in 1985 with over 160 franchisees operating under its brand. Under Olivier’s leadership, operating outlets in the UK, France, and other European areas, the company’s goal is to 200 stores during 2023.
This is Pip’s second year on the judging panel for the EFF Awards. Pip is a lifelong franchise association professional and is well known internationally as the CEO of the British Franchise Association. We are delighted that Pip will act as the President of the Jury for this year’s awards, given her long experience in franchising.
